Documents on public exhibition

Council obtains community input by placing plans and proposals on Public Exhibition and inviting community feedback. This process ensures that local residents, organisations and other stakeholders are informed about what is happening in the County’s areas and can have their say on the future of the area.

To make your submission to Council, please do so in writing to Council by the advertised submission date. Submissions may be:
• Posted to The General Manager, Castlereagh Macquarie County Council, PO Box 664 Walgett NSW 2832
• Emailed to cmcc@cmcc.nsw.gov.au; if you choose to email your submission, please phone us if you do not receive any acknowledgment, in order to confirm that the email was received.

Current Documents on Public Exhibition

Public Exhibition of Draft 2026/2027 Operational Plan,  Delivery Program 25/26 to 28/29 as amended, Long Term Financial Plan 26/27 TO 35/36, Asset Management Plan 26/27 to 35/36 and Workforce Strategy 25/26 to 28/29 will be placed on public exhibition from the 13th May 2026.

Council invites written submissions and comments on the abovementioned documents to be received by 4.30pm 9th June 2026.

Following consideration of public submissions, the documents will be formally considered and adopted by Council at a Meeting to be held on Monday 22nd June 2026.
